Buying for a repair, not just a part.

The customer side of KAVRO, end to end: vehicle context, search and discovery, choosing between products, fit settled with evidence, the whole repair, when it can be ready, and the order. Each step loads a real state with deterministic, fictional data.

Five-minute customer walkthrough

Open a step to load its state. The product carries the argument.

  1. 0:00, step 1

    The vehicle comes first

Relevance starts with the exact car. The Accord was added by hand, so trim and engine say “selected by you”. The plate carries only what open Jobs depend on: no brake Job yet, so no brake detail.

  2. 0:30, step 2

    Search for the part

“Front brake pads” opens on the three pads for the Accord, told apart only by what differs: noise, dust, warranty. The plate now shows the rotor size, and the list says once that the Accord has two brake setups and how to confirm which.

  3. 1:00, step 3

    Or describe the problem

Someone who doesn't know the part says what they hear. “My brakes squeal” becomes the likely repair, with a not-a-diagnosis caution and a preview of everything it takes.

  4. 1:40, step 4

    Fit Confidence: what isn't known

Two rotor sizes were used on this Accord, 0.8 in. apart. Both are drawn to scale with their price and ready time. Nothing claims to fit until one is confirmed.

  5. 2:20, step 5

    Settle it with evidence

The VIN leads because it's the strongest evidence. One fact on the vehicle resolves every part that depends on it, and the Job collapses to one price and one time.

  6. 3:00, step 6

The whole repair, not one SKU

Only what the repair needs is bought by default. Recommended and optional parts wait for “Add”. Change part on the rotors shows each option's fit and what it does to the Job's ready time.

  7. 3:35, step 7

    Can it be done today?

Everything ready at 1:50 PM, because the rotors arrive last. A one-stop pickup at Harbor Rd. is 2 h 55 min sooner at the same price. Compare every complete plan.

  8. 4:15, step 8

    Checkout as an order

Quantity, item, part number, price, fit verified in one line, and how you'll get everything, compared with the choice. Place the order.

  9. 4:45, step 9

    After the order

The Job keeps tracking: what's on the shelf, what's on the 1:30 PM run, and when the last part makes the repair possible.

  10. 5:00, step 10

Optional: the same Job at a shop

Hand the Job to a shop and it arrives in KAVRO Pro with the customer's words kept apart from what the technician must verify.

KAVRO is a fictional, independent product. Brands, part numbers, prices, inventory, fitment facts and shops are invented. Real vehicle makes and models are used only so the scenarios are recognizable.
